I decided to go for a spring look with this cake. sunshine yellow and green were just the perfect combination.

My first striped cake

I like stripes and wanted to try it out.I initially wanted to do zebra stripes but figured it was too popular and decided to for lila striped with teal.I like the colour combination.My second one will definitely be better.

My first fondant frill cake

I had another design in mind when I made this cake. This is my first trial.

Banana Coconut loaf cake

I like the taste of this cake.It is one of my favorites and it very easy to make. Made from crushed bananas and shredded coconut, this cake tastes delicious and can be used as desert after a light main meal.

My first fondant bow.

It was my first time trying out a fondant bow.I love the floral impressions on it. I sure going to repeat the style but with a more elaborate design for the rest of the cake.I actually made the cake for a friend's birthday 4 months ago.

My second trial for croissants.

I tried out the croissant recipe again and this time it came out just the way I wanted it.I still need more practice on it though.I can't wait to try out croissants with strawberry jam. I have to admit it took longer than I thought it would take to make them. Croissants are best eaten freshly baked from the oven.

My first quilted cake.

I call it my pillow cake.I like the green and pink combination.I intend to repeat the pattern but in a more elaborate style.

Gift box cake.

This is the second time I am making a gift box cake.I got the inspiration from a picture I saw on  Pretty Little Liars Facebook page. I love the design and decided to make it on a cake. I am yet done with the cake.I just need the ribbon to dry and stay in place then I will take the final pictures.
